To End Every War is a work of fiction in the fantasy, epic adventure, and action subgenres, and is the opening novel in the series of the same name. The work is best suited to mature adult readers owing to the presence of sex, violence, some explicit language, and adult themes throughout. Penned by author Raymond Wilkinson, this enchanting epic tale immerses readers in a fantastical world on the brink of global conflict in 1901. The Vespa Academy of Sciences, dedicated to ending wars between Kindred species, becomes a stage for six unique women facing societal prejudices. As the plot unfolds, the narrative deftly weaves together fantasy and science fiction elements to craft a thrilling alternate reality where the past, present, and future collide.

Author Raymond Wilkinson has crafted a highly imaginative and well-penned fantasy work with storytelling that is sure to captivate fans of the genre with assassinations, revolutions, and a world on the edge of chaos, poised for disaster. The six central characters are drawn with complexity and depth, each representing a piece in the grand game of international politics, but also well-founded as individuals with their own lives, goals, and desires. There is a strong undercurrent for these six women as their lives converge and affect one another on a grander scale, all building to a sense of tension that slow-burns through each smaller episode within a bigger saga. The blend of atmospheric and well-described fantasy elements with progressive-era optimism creates a rich backdrop for exploring friendship, unity, and love in the face of impending war. I also found it impressive how varied the attitudes, dialogue, and narrative approach were for the different people from different walks of life, giving a realistic feel to the worldbuilding. Overall, To End Every War is a compelling introduction to a series that promises a thrilling exploration of politics, magic, and the human spirit, and I would certainly recommend it to fantasy fans everywhere.
