The work is intended for the general reading audience and is written in an accessible format for anyone to engage with, even if they’ve never read self-help books before. As the title suggests, this handy exploratory work focuses on how we can empower ourselves to overcome feelings of stress brought on by the different pressures in modern life. The author’s wealth of personal experience in coaching for the oneness of both body and mind is utilized to lay out practical steps for achieving balance in readers’ lives.

Author Marios Skarvellis has crafted an optimistic, empowering, and enjoyable work of guidance and advice with plenty of inspirational mantras and successful strategies to offer readers. In terms of organization, the work is well arranged to convey information in a progressive order and allows easy reference to find essential topics again. In terms of content, it is clear that the author has plenty of experience and it feels like the narrative assures readers they are in safe hands as they are guided through the mantras and strategies within. I also really enjoyed the fact that the work was not solely focused on success, but also on processing and even praising your failures. Overall, I would highly recommend True Power of You: Successfully Overcoming Stress to fans of confident and inspiring writing, positive thinking, and those suffering from day to day stress everywhere.
