True Romans by Silvio Santini is a well-written novel for fans of science fiction and military novels. A secret meeting at the Pentagon is interrupted by intruders who incapacitate the president, rendering him unconscious. They make it clear that the United States' divisive politics makes the country very vulnerable while revealing their military technology, so advanced and awe-inspiring. Led by the powerful Octavius, they reveal a plan of a secret empire that has studied humankind for a long time and is about to take control of the earth. With the president unconscious and the military divided in opinion, can there be any resistance to an alien force as powerful as the one led by Octavius?

While True Romans by Silvio Santini is a work of fiction, it reflects the controversy in American politics and also illustrates the mindlessness that has characterized world politics over the years. The story is gripping, with exciting characters and prose that is enjoyable. It is one of those stories that entertain readers while prompting them to engage in critical thought. The crisp writing adds a strong layer to the reading experience. The action is pulsating and the author uses suspense to build interest in readers. The reader watches as the military is swayed and wonders who can take action against this race that is about to dominate humanity. I enjoyed the drama, the fleshed-out characters, and the skillfully developed themes, especially the intrigue and political subversion. True Romans is an exciting read.
