Two Flowers Activity Book by Laurel Lorenzini is an adorable activity book designed for children aged 4 to 8 years old. It could be used at home on a rainy (or not) day or in school. It is perfect for any setting. In black and white and gorgeously illustrated by three different artists (which is quite amazing and rare), the designs are clear, fun, and engaging, as are the games and activities. The book is comprehensive and includes numerous types of tasks such as letter codes to decipher (a must for children and adults alike), and drawings with pre-created grids to help children be creative. The answers are provided at the end of this book.

Two Flowers Activity Book by Laurel Lorenzini is extremely diverse. There are so many varied and fun activities, for example, “Spot the Difference” (a classic) and “Connect the Dots”, or more original ones such as “Match-ups” with the loveliest squirrels ever. I am an adult and I have fallen in love with the beautiful illustrations and appealing games. I cannot wait to have my grandchildren try some of them (I’ll have to translate them into French). My favorite games are “Search the Scene" which will appeal to whodunnit fans, “Alphabet Maze”, ideal for teaching the alphabet or revising it delightfully, “Recycling Fun” to start teaching youngsters about the environment (which is never too early), and “Down By the Sea” to promote creativity. A heartfelt thank you to the author for crafting such a fabulous activity book which is going to make so many kids and parents happy while learning!

Laurel Lorenzini's Two Flowers Activity Book has a wide range of activities for children from four to eight years old. Lorenzini's book is broken down into sections, showcasing the characters from each of her existing tales, like Micha, Elydia, and Daisy. Besides the human characters, the author includes monsters, aliens, and animals from her stories. Children may select from a wide range of interests, like coloring, matching, spot the difference, mazes, word and item searches, connecting the dots, rhyming, word scrambling, and tic-tac-toe with Lorenzini's characters on the pages. At the end, the author provides the answers to activities.

After reading Laurel Lorenzini's book, youngsters will spend hours revisiting their favorite friends in this engaging activity book. With delightful drawings from the three artists responsible for the vibrant illustrations in her stories, every exercise supports creativity, cognitive skills, and/or pattern recognition, making it an entertaining option that caregivers can use. My children, ages three to ten, enjoyed the activity and coloring pages. Out of the four children, my six- and eight-year-olds appreciated the drawings and games the most. My ten-year-old loved the portions where she was challenged to find words and patterns, and my toddler was happy to color pictures and discover matches. Based on my observations with them and my former experience as an educator, the Two Flowers Activity Book will be great for families with a range of young children as it has something for all of them.

Halloween can be so much fun. Dressing up to go trick-or-treating with friends and family, or just having a blast at home with some witchlet activities. Laurel Lorenzini’s Two Flowers Activity Book allows two little witchlets the opportunity to lead young people on a creative adventure. They’ve left their broomsticks in the forest and they can’t do their usual witching without their broomsticks. So, they ask young readers to help them travel through the maze and find the broomsticks. They also enjoy sharing word searches, counting exercises, an alphabet maze, looking for hidden pictures, sorting, and so much more. The best part is the coloring because even little witchlets love to color, especially when there are lots of witchlets and monsters to color.

Laurel Lorenzini’s Two Flowers Activity Book is full of fun Halloween-themed things to do. It’s entertaining and educational and will help improve young readers' counting and reading skills, ability to solve problems, and find missing items, all while enjoying a little witchlet Halloween story and lots of coloring activities. There are over 70 different activities in this book to entertain the young mind. There’s even a writing exercise as young readers are challenged to write a lullaby to soothe a monster to sleep before he destroys any more books, as well as an exercise matching some healthy, but not-so-favorite vegetables. At the end of the book are the key answers to some of the activities. There’s a lot to keep young minds engaged in this gem of an activity book.
