Valor Tale: Peregrination is the second volume of the Valor Tale series by David Earl Williams III. After securing Helix's freedom, Dew Wilder and the other members of the Aurora Blade head off to Llivisaca to deliver a letter from the interim Premier of Mesovilla, Killbin Janerio, to the Seneschal of Llivisaca, Endel Corot. Upon arrival, Seneschal Corot warns Dew and his team of the dangers posed by the Mantid Oscuro, a highly organized crime syndicate. Dew, Rena, and their friends soon overcome the Mantid Oscuro, flipping one of their members in the process. However, a battle with a mutant beetle reminds them of the larger threat posed by Dew's nemesis, Thornton, who is after the four remaining SKT virus vials. Can the friends stop Thornton from carrying out his nefarious plans?

A fantasy adventure novel with comic book-style action sequences and illustrations, Valor Tale: Peregrination entertains you from start to finish. Moving at a brisk pace, author David Earl Williams III wastes little time getting you into the midst of the action as you find yourself on a wild rollercoaster of a ride that you don't want to get off. Each character is equipped with an interesting backstory that adds layers to their personalities and makes them compelling to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between the members of Dew's crew. Elvir was a nice addition to the group, and her sassy comebacks made for some hilarious scenes. If you're itching for an action-packed fantasy adventure, check out Valor Tale: Peregrination.
