Waiting for a Miracle by Jennifer Wilck is the story of two people who want very different things, but they have no idea that what they are looking for is right next door. Rachel wants to be a foster mother badly. She wants to give a child a home where they can be safe and have a good life. However, her handsome neighbor is proving to be quite a distraction. His name is Benjamin and he has an angel of a daughter named Jessie. Jessie is Rachel's favorite; she is spunky and very clever, which makes her an absolute blessing to have around. The duo makes her smile and has her heart racing for some unknown reason. She wants a family just like that, but there isn’t much she can do about it. Can Rachel hold off her attraction to this handsome man long enough to fulfill her dream? Or is he the start of something brilliant?
Wow, this is such a brilliant piece of writing, perfect for the festive season. Anyone who adores “Happily Ever After” endings and amazing characters will love Waiting for a Miracle. In a short, dynamic story, the author has provided fantastic characters, an incredible plot and a very entertaining storyline that kept me reading on. I loved how determined and feisty Rachel is, how considerate and lovable Benjamin is, and how adorable Jessie is. The three of them made a beautiful family even before they realized that they were a family. The dialogues were fun, the characters were well-developed and the story was very sweet. This is such a wholesome, simply beautiful story for romance fans!
