Cricket Rohman grew up in Estes Park, Colorado, and spent her formative years among deer, bobcats, coyotes and beautiful blue columbine. Today she is a full-time author writing about the great outdoors, teachers, dogs, love, laughter, and life’s little mysteries—think romantic suspense.
Prior to writing, Cricket’s career path included the following adventures: actor, singer, audio/video producer, classroom teacher, school principal, and U of A, College of Education assistant professor. All of the above led the way to her first three novels, WANTED: AN HONEST MAN … LETTERS, LOVERS, & LIES … and HIT THE ROAD, JAKE!
All three books are works of fiction. REALLY! (Well, except the part about the dog; she really had a dog like Wendell, the mastiff, who appears in every book.)

Wanted: An Honest Man by Cricket Rohman is Book 1 of the Lindsey Lark Series. Lindsey is a teacher, incredibly beautiful and very talented; a woman who always tries to see the positive side of things and fights for what she thinks is right. Betrayal changes all of that, especially when the man she thought she loved steals her dog as well. Knocked back, Lindsey then starts to receive threatening phone calls, and thinks that she is being stalked. Lindsey isn’t ready for a new love to enter her life, but men seem drawn to her. One in particular, a college student who likes playing detective, is very interested in Lindsey, but is he interested in her for the right reasons? And who is stalking Lindsey?
Wanted: An Honest Man (Lindsey Lark Series Book 1) by Cricket Rohman is a lovely book, a real mix of romance and mystery with a little suspense thrown in for good measure. The story is a nice one, a story that gently draws a reader in and takes them for a meander through the life of a kindergarten teacher. The plot was different, incredibly well thought out, and it was a believable one, beginning like a fairy tale of old and continuing on to a modern story with plenty going on. The character development was second to none with the main protagonist becoming very well known throughout the course of the book, and the scene has been set very well for book 2. Looking forward to reading it.
