He takes us on his personal journey, from early financial struggles, traditional ancestral worship, and a major crisis in his youth to complete spiritual surrender. As he walks us through his career, marriage, and family, Khoo shares some amazing milestones throughout his life. You’ll read about supernatural healings, his global mission work in places like Mozambique, and how he started the Papa Foundation. Through it all, the heart of the book is his stubborn commitment to tuning into divine guidance even when life got brutal, like dealing with speech delays in his family and the deep heartbreak of miscarriages. When you finish, you’re left with a powerful reminder of how even the average person can walk through the darkest times by holding onto a simple, childlike trust in a higher spiritual power.
Lex Khoo’s memoir, What You Say, Daddy? His Glory Revealed in the Dark, really stands out as a personal exploration of what it means to live out Christian obedience. It’s a fantastic, comforting read for anyone who wants to deepen their spiritual life during a stormy spiritual season. Very highly recommended.
