In the chilling supernatural novel, Whispers Dancing in the Dark Winds by Demario Tyson, a broken-down detective must face the devils who were responsible for the death of his wife to save the world from destruction. Homicide Detective Shanks's life deteriorated when his wife was killed in a car accident. Taking an extended leave of absence from the police department, and leaving his two teenage children to fend for themselves, Shanks took refuge in the anesthetizing effects of alcohol. When a serial killer starts targeting single women, Shanks returns to the force. Because of his previous exemplary reputation, he is made lead detective on the murder investigation. During his inquiry, Shanks finds evidence that clearly points to one man's guilt, but his instincts tell him otherwise. Continuing to search for the murderer, Shanks begins experiencing strange occurrences where he hears whispers and the fabric of the universe alters. Relating his first episode to a hallucination brought on by excessive alcohol abuse, Shanks ignores it and stops drinking. However, after having a car accident in a reality-shifting event, Shanks begins to look at the case in a different light. Are there dark forces hiding beneath the surface, preparing to annihilate the inhabitants of the city? Can Shanks and his associates find a way to exterminate them?

A hair-raising adventure with demon-like beings, Whispers Dancing in the Dark Winds by Demario Tyson is a horror-filled supernatural tale where nightmares are born. With bloodcurdling, edge of the seat action, it is a dark and thrilling tale that held me spellbound from beginning to end. I liked the fact the protagonists could actually kill their demonic adversaries with a gun and other physical weapons. How cathartic it would be to have the ability to shoot your demons! The creatures hold an interesting similitude to demonic entities; they even have a powerful, evil master influencing them to destroy the inhabitants of earth. It is a spine-tingling story that will thrill horror fans who find derelict protagonists battling nightmare monsters entertaining. Containing some violence, explicit language, and sexual encounters, this book is more suitable for mature readers.
