Todd Montgomery ends up experiencing what many men fantasize about in White Magic Woman but he is not happy, especially when it interferes with his relationship with his loving wife, Simonia. Ju Ephraime steamily portrays the paranormal possession of Todd by an extremely powerful sorceress on the island of St. Lucia. Each morning, Todd wakes up exhausted and sexually wrung out from overnight encounters with this witch, whom he does not know nor can he touch. Returning home halfway around the world, he knows there is something definitely wrong when he cannot make love to his beautiful, passionate wife. Returning to St. Lucia to complete his job, he turns to an islander who makes light of Todd’s troubles, but does provide information from a local obeah that may help thwart the witch. When this does not work, Todd arranges for a replacement at work and returns home to Australia where the witch follows him. Fortunately, Simonia’s aboriginal grandfather provides answers and a potential solution. Will a return to St. Lucia bring about an end to this attachment that threatens to ruin his marriage, or will it just make the witch stronger?

Unique, exciting and definitely erotic, White Magic Woman by Ju Ephraime explores the unpleasant consequences of unwanted sex from a man’s point of view. Detailed descriptions of beautiful scenery and life on two continents add depth to the story that involves an intense love between virtual newlyweds. The strange magic that encompasses Todd is mesmerizing, and the power demonstrated by the couple to work together to try to overcome the threat is inspiring. White Magic Woman is certainly captivating and well worth the read.

I was asked to review White Magic Woman by the author, now, this isn’t my usual book subject, but I dug in anyway. Boy, I’m glad I did! Todd is newly married to Simonia, and is madly in love with her. But when he comes home from one of his trips to St Lucia, he finds he’s not able to perform sexually.
Of course, Simonia thinks that something is up, and Todd ends up confessing about his nightly visits from a White Magic Woman, (Hence, the title). Of course, no woman will sit idlly by while another woman, sorceress or not, steals her man. So Simonia fights for man since Todd is helpless to do so.
This book was filled with love, magic, and adventure. And the best part? Well, grab yourself a copy and find out.

This book was a terrific read. I was enthralled from the first chapter. As the story unfolds I couldn’t help feeling sorry for Todd. Why did the witch pick him, and who was the witch? Every time I thought I’d figured it out, it turned out not to be the case. The story took me to several different countries. The author did a great job giving the history of the locations and its people: Dominica, St. Lucia and New South Wales, even including a brief background on the aborigine. Add to this, romance, magic and passion… lots of passion and you have a masterpiece. The story kept me in suspense until the very end, exceptional writing!
