Nurse Olivia "Liv" Welle Presents: Who Knew Vitamins Could Be Fun by Yael Rosenberg, is an illustrated book that teaches kids (and parents) about vitamins. Nurse Liv Welle visits classrooms and teaches the students about vitamin A through K with fun little rhymes. They learn what each vitamin does for their body, as well as some of the different foods where the vitamin can be found naturally.

I enjoyed sharing this book with my sons. I was a bit surprised at how little I knew about each of the vitamins. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about the subject, but I was missing quite a bit of information! My oldest son enjoyed the rhymes. When I would read the lines he would try to guess the last word of the rhyme before I read it. Yael Rosenberg made this book very interactive. By reading the list of foods where each vitamin is found I was able to stop at each page and discuss with my sons what foods they like on the page and which foods they dislike.

I plan to continue to use this book as a teaching tool and letting my sons help to plan their own lunches in the future by choosing healthy foods and discussing what vitamins are in those foods and how they will benefit our bodies.

The illustrations in this book where very charming. After reading this I think I may get a copy of the vitamin wheel to hang on our refrigerator to remind us to eat healthy!
