World Shakers is a work of non-fiction that tackles religious ideas and theology. It is intended for the adult reading audience and was penned by author Frank Frantz. The third installment in the Revelation Series, following Daniel God’s Bondservant and Lord of the Harvest, this next exploration takes author Frank Frantz even deeper into the modern idea of God. The author translates modern activities by high-impact people whom he terms “world shakers” to posit how the Holy Spirit might be moving through our current lives toward God’s intended plan for the people of the world. In passionate language and with a strong dedication to faith, Frantz frames the game of life and encourages readers to see the bigger picture.
Religious and spiritual readers alike will find much to enjoy, examine, and think about in these writings from author Frank Frantz. Themes such as the power that prayer can have and the idea of being a true servant of God will be familiar to many readers who already enjoy a lot of Christian reading, but Frantz goes beyond this to transform scriptural interpretation and put a modern lens on it. The explanation and theorizing around revival movements were most interesting to me and I think that for readers who feel that the planet is slowly self-destructing and getting more and more chaotic, this work will bring a sense of peace to them and assuage their worries. Overall, World Shakers is a book that will encourage others to seek out their own inner “godly character” and develop better habits in the face of modern life.
