Writing a book is a path to self-discovery. Starting to write can be complicated if we don't put our ideas in order or if we don't feel capable. To solve this, we have Write Your Book for a More Amazing Life: Thirty Days of Exercises (Fifteen Minutes Per Day) to Become the Writer You Want to Be. Through the exercises described, aspirant authors now have a guide to the process of developing their creativity and writing. Practicing daily will eventually give you the ability to write a book. Cathy A. Corn proposes a system that only takes fifteen minutes a day for thirty days to acquire the different types of skills related to writing. Her book is about being the writer you want to be, through small stimulating, and inspiring activities.
I liked Cathy A. Corn's writing style. She puts all the ideas in order, from analyzing why we want to write a book to the actual practice. On the plus side, the exercises are partly based on day-to-day experiences, so it's easier to complete them even if you're experiencing writer's block. She advises that we analyze what holds us back, then by using her written material it will be easier to find solutions. The author also encourages us to seek help when necessary as with the right advice we can correct text and give more coherence to our writing. Write Your Book for a More Amazing Life advises that you should not be overly sensitive to criticism, which is very important because that's what often stops very capable people from continuing their work. It is wonderful to see so many suggestions and activities.
