Daniel Green's 30 Days with the Father is an inspirational self-help theology book, aptly subtitled “A Devotional to Discover How Heaven Can Follow You Everywhere”. This is well and truly a month-long spiritual journey with daily entries that are broken down into three distinct and interconnected parts. Part one, First Learn: How Heaven Can Follow You, employs a positive challenge to break down restrictive, man-made walls and empty your cup so God can refill and overflow it. Part two, Second Experience: For Yourself Heaven Is Following You, expands on breaking barriers and implements proactive steps such as the honest and profound freedom of childlike thinking to truly connect with God. Part three, Third Share: With Others How Heaven Can Follow Them emphasizes the critical importance of educating others.

Daniel Green offers a unique month-long daily devotional. Green's 30 Days with the Father is specifically geared toward opening up to hearing God's word and experiencing heaven in the most literal sense I have come across. The voice of God is not an allegory for what we believe has already been said, nor is it a metaphor for what has been documented. It is also not reliant on “signs” that are frequently attributed to unheard messages. It is actually clearing headspace to open a part of the mind and the heart to hear God speak directly to you. From his lips into your heart. Green also dives deeply into a physically tangible relationship of not just hearing but seeing and touching. Green describes this first experience on an evening where a night of fervent pleading by prayer is answered as he lets go of all that holds him back. This is a well-written and personal devotional that will no doubt resonate with readers who want to experience God in every conceivable way.
