A Complete Guide to Public Speaking by Joe Grippo is an introduction to what you will need if you ever plan to speak in a group. Talking in front of other people, whether it be only a few people or many, can be very intimidating for a lot of people. It can also turn out badly if the speaker doesn’t know what they are doing or is nervous about speaking up in front of a group. That is exactly what this book is about. It teaches the reader the key steps to take to get ready for a speech and then what they should do while they are actually making the speech. This way you come across as composed, rehearsed, and knowledgeable every time you get in front of others.

I found this book to be very helpful. I'm actually a very shy person myself and have always struggled with making speeches in front of people. In fact, I'm so shy that I often have difficulty talking in front of my closest friends whom I’ve known all my life. This book I believe will definitely be an asset to me. It has key points to remember and it gives plenty of additional resources as well. So I can find ways to make myself feel more comfortable around others and definitely feel more comfortable making my voice heard. I will be trying out these tips for myself very soon and I feel optimistic about how it’s going to turn out for me. Thank you to Joe Grippo and A Complete Guide to Public Speaking.
