A Little Poetic is a beautiful combination of realism, the search for truth, love, and sentiment, expressed in realistic poems about what life is like and the interactions with the people around us. Teresa James shares her reflections, her situations, and the depths of her heart through very pleasant words and images. Each poem has a clear message that invites us to analyze ourselves to be better as people. A Little Poetic tells us about love and sensations from various perspectives, which allows us to rethink whether a relationship is good or if we have to get away from toxicity, however painful the process may be. But it also talks about the truth of the feeling of pure love. Love and life are the main themes in this beautiful poetic composition.

Some poems are short and others are longer, but the feeling they convey is strong in each of them. It was very enjoyable to read them, let my mind go, and see the illustrations, which although simple, are clear aesthetic management of feelings. Teresa James knows very well what message she wants to send, and she does it perfectly in A Little Poetic. I loved her honesty and the self-confidence that she transmits. Her attention to detail is very good. The way of showing reality and talking about introspection were also positive aspects of the book. A Little Poetic contains the essence of how to meditate on oneself and the environment, always with a perspective of love.
