Marina Ermakova’s Ambush Predators is a high-intensity suspense story about Jordan and Gabriela’s research and observational study of the legendary animal, the Jaculi. There have been more spottings and incidents of people being attacked by the elusive Jaculi in Italy. In an attempt to discover more about this legendary animal, Jordan and Gabriela have orchestrated a stakeout with bait to lure the predator and gather information about its habits. During their wait, a Jaculi takes their bait and their long-awaited moment to study the elusive predator finally comes, but their moment of glory is short-lived when they are attacked by another predator. Will they, unlike others, live to tell their story?
Marina Ermakova’s Ambush Predators is an intense, high-action, and suspenseful story that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the very end. Marina’s writing was thorough, specific, and wasn’t rushed even though the story was a quick read. Marina took every opportunity to grab and keep readers’ attention with every sentence. The descriptions of the legendary animals were so vivid that you could picture the creatures. My favorite part of the story was during the chase and I didn't know if they would live or not. This intense fantasy/thriller knocked my socks off and I couldn't put it down until the story was over. If you haven’t read Marina Ermakova’s Ambush Predators you definitely should because it is a must-read. I look forward to reading more of Ermakova's writing.
