Author Biography

Taylor N. Thompson Sr has over fifty years of experience as an Officer and Director of small businesses and has participated in many business organizations. After selling his own business be has been associated with a New York City investment bank specializing in the sale and merger of businesses. He is now Chairman of Millrock Technology Inc www.millrocktech.com, a high technology company. Mr. Thompson was educated at Columbia University in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters in Business.
Mr. Thompson was the Founder/President of FTS Systems Inc. of Stone Ridge, an international scientific equipment manufacturer. He sold the company in 1996 and retired in 1998. Prior to establishing his own company he was Executive Vice-President of The VirTis Company Inc of Gardiner, NY, also a scientific instrument manufacturer. He served as an Air Force officer for three years in the communications field.
He has published many papers on the subject of Freeze-drying and has lectured internationally on the subject. He and his wife Elizabeth have six children and six grandchildren and live in Kingston, New York.
