Anabella for Queen Bee by Brianna Jade is a brilliantly written children’s book with many positive lessons. At Honeycomb Elementary School, Mrs. Buzzer announced the day for the Queen Bee games, which would determine who would become the next Queen Bee. This announcement, as well as an encounter with Isabella after school, made Anabella Bumblebee sad because she was a slow bee and had always wished to become Queen Bee. To become Queen Bee, Anabella must have a special ability to give her an edge over other bees in the Queen Bee games. This story proves that kindness is an essential part of true friendship.
I was most impressed that every aspect of this book was designed to be visually appealing to kids, ranging from the font style and size to the colorful pages and illustrations. These components make the story engaging for kids. I commend Brianna’s passion for children, and I found her writing to be concise, exceptionally well-paced, and easy for kids to comprehend. This book featured themes of hard work, friendship, and more. As an adult, I learned new things about bees. I did my personal research and found out that all the information and facts about bees in the story were correct. Positive moral lessons on kindness, empathy, and more can be derived from the story for kids’ benefit. The story was well-organized, and I loved everything about it from start to finish. I recommend Anabella for Queen Bee by Brianna Jade to all young readers and fans of children's books.
