Angel and Outcast by Tess Manchester is a supernatural thriller that emphasizes the thin line between good and evil, as well as the decisions that people make. Raven Close is a career thief. She is killed in a car chase while attempting to flee a police pursuit following an unsuccessful art gallery robbery. She lands in Hell's transit zone. Her punishment is to spend eternity in Hell. But the devil is willing to make a deal with her, offering to make her an assistant demon in exchange for corrupting a celebrity influencer and her million followers by turning them to the dark side. On the other hand, Seraphina Wright is the ideal angel who must guide the same influencer to salvation. This assignment will then prove her worth as an archangel. Raven and Seraphina clash, and a demon's hostile meddling makes the narrow path of virtue and vice nearly impossible.
Tess Manchester's Angel and Outcast is a compelling story that combines suspense and opposing moral choices. The writing is fascinating, fast-paced, and positively exhilarating. Both lead characters are complex and dynamic. Raven is from a rough background, and although she feels guilty about her deeds, she also needs to survive. And for this, the reader can empathize with her character. Seraphina, on the other hand, is the embodiment of purity and kindness. The tumultuous clash between good and evil will have you turning the pages. The characters' compelling performances explore themes of redemption, sacrifice, dark fascination, and free will. The temptation of the world's riches may seem exciting and easy to get, but hope in one's heart and consciousness will illuminate the right path. Choices are not as obvious as they appear. Fans of supernatural fiction will like this lively, action-packed thriller.
