Another Way of Living: A Journey to Infinite Peace, Immense Joy and True Freedom by Dr. Snezhana Djambazova-Popordanoska is a self-help book that guides readers through psychological health and how it can affect physical health as well. It begins with the author sharing her personal experience of a severe hand fracture. This left her helpless until a friend introduced her to Cahil, a spiritual teacher who took her on a journey of self-discovery and peace. She realized she was not really living as she should, and she embraced the journey, watching her life transform. Six months after that, her hand was healed, something the doctors believed to be a miracle. From her guru, she learned that there is truly another way of living.
Another Way of Living by Dr. Snezhana Djambazova-Popordanoska is a structured guide that combines the clinical accuracy of a doctor with the advisory tone of a spiritual teacher. She teaches that if we learn to address our needs as they arise, we will get immediate satisfaction from their fulfillment. She offers different practices like daily check-ins, need awareness journals, body-mind-spirit-social balance, and more. We need to boost our self-awareness, cultivate joy in daily activities, and so much more. She explains how to achieve these goals. The use of questions and answers as the heading format was really smart. It made the book feel more conversational, like a session between the author and the reader. Also, the case studies made the book more relatable. It does not feel like a textbook by a doctor; instead, it is a guide filled with tools to inspire and be used in life.
