Arfie’s Adventures by Gina Rose Musachia is about a cute dog with short legs and sweet, bright eyes. His huge curiosity makes him leave the comfort of his backyard. He longs for adventure and fun. Brave Arfie finds himself in different challenging situations, one after another. First, he unfortunately gets stuck in a small hole in the fence. Luckily, his family helps him out of this predicament. The first time he got into trouble, he quickly forgot about it. Fortunately, his family often came to his rescue. However, he again leaves his backyard, but this time, he gets lost and has trouble returning home. Will Arfie learn from his adventures and experience?
Arfie’s Adventures by Gina Rose Musachia is a charming and wonderfully written book about a curious dog called Arfie. Readers will love his naughty-looking face and his adventures. Dog lovers will also enjoy the story. Dogs can get into trouble, and sometimes it is amusing. Colorful and informative illustrations by Michael R. Voogd will entertain young readers. These adorable and engaging pictures present a beautiful portrayal of Arfie's mischievous adventures. The story has cute, captivating moments. The inner conflict that Arfie experiences will capture the attention of readers. I love the expressions on little Arfie's face. It shows he is thinking and reflecting on his choices as Arfie learns valuable lessons along the way. The short dialogue is realistic and fits each scene well. Youngsters will want to read this sweet story many times over.
