Beware and Behold by Dziyana Taylor is the sequel that follows Rebecca’s adventures in the world of the shadows. Rebecca and Nick must unravel mysteries and face danger in order to save Derek who is trapped in his very own version of hell. Through all the trickery and games, can Derek be saved from his demonic counterpart or will he be trapped forever? In a world with demons and magic, nothing is certain; however, Rebecca is determined to do all she can to save the people she cares for.
Beware and Behold by Dziyana Taylor is a refreshing and captivating story with a multitude of unique elements that make this book so hard to put down. The reverse damsel in distress plot was fun and made for a refreshing story. I loved the fact that Rebecca was shown to be a strong and intelligent female lead who had to overcome several hardships in order to save her lover. She doesn’t rely too much on other people to do things for her or save the day and I really enjoyed that aspect of the book. The writing style for this story was also really good and made it so easy to become immersed in the plot. I found it so hard to put this down once I started reading it, especially when it came to some of the one-liners from the characters. I ended up laughing out loud many times. Overall, Beware and Behold is brilliantly written and so entertaining. I would definitely recommend this book.
