Dianne Anghel appears to be a normal fifteen year old high school student. She has been having trouble in school with what she calls the BBQ clique; "Blonde Bimbo Queens." Tammy just keeps insulting her and her parents. The abuse continues until Dianne slaps her. Dianne ends up in detention. Tammy needs stitches.  Dianne’s hand turned into a paw when she slapped Tammy. Her parents are a little different. Her dad is a vampire and her mother is a werewolf.   Dianne is becoming a shape shifter.

Dianne’s father has been sick and has lost his desire to eat. He sees a Vampire Doctor. He tests positive for HIV.

Matthew is the handsome teen from next door. He’s heard the rumors and he’s curious. He invites Dianne to go the park with him. He finally asks if the rumors are true. How can you tell someone you just met what your parents are and what you may happen to you if you get upset? What if Matthew thinks she is a freak. There seems to be something a little off with Matt.

If you enjoy paranormal books you will enjoy Bite Me. The plot moves at a steady pace. This is part of a series but stands well along. Young Adults will enjoy this book.
