This is a fun story for kids to enjoy, but it also offers some education. The story teaches children to value friendship while teaching them to work together for a common aim. It also educates children about wildlife and hopefully instills in them a need to protect what wildlife is left on our planet. There are also some amazing, colorful photos dotted throughout to help bring those animals to life a little more. This is a very well-written book with some lovely animal characters developed to act as humans, a great way to get the attention of young readers.
