Book of Love: The Ringtail Family by Sylvie Michaud is the cute little story of Mama Ringtail, Papa Ringtail and Baby Ringtail. Papa Ringtail and Mama Ringtail give their baby four kisses every night. They tell Baby Ringtail that the kisses are to remind them to say their thank yous every day. Each kiss is a special thank you and the kisses make Baby Ringtail feel cozy and loved. The theme of love in the story goes perfectly with the title. The rhymes at the end of the book are playful and kids will enjoy reading and reciting them.

I found this story of the Ringtail family adorable. It's simple and perfect for little kids to know more about thank yous, love and feeling loved. The book is a wonderful bedtime story book and all parents and grandparents should have this series in their personal collection to read to their kids and grand kids. The playful rhymes at the end of the story are delightful and can be used in classrooms and school libraries for read aloud sessions. It teaches them rhyming verses and a lot of activities and action involving their hands. The illustrations add to the appeal and charm of the story and they help kids connect well to the Ringtail family. The story is filled with a lot of affection and warmth that engulfs readers. The author teaches kids a beautiful message and concept through this simple story of Papa Ringtail, Mama Ringtail and Baby Ringtail.
