Written from the perspective of a sister in a religious order solving crimes, Bring the Light by Annette Montez Kolda is one of the most unusual books I have ever read. The twists and turns in the flawlessly flowing plotline kept me looking forward to the next chapters. The author captured the emotions and events vividly as they unfolded. Reading the book was like having an adventure in Mexico and the southern USA without leaving my couch. The characters are well-developed, and the language used is also easy to understand, making the book accessible to all readers. Those who love stories with religious themes will enjoy this book. I can't wait to read more from this talented author.
