The night before Easter, we find Cora on her bed, wide awake. She is excited to catch a glimpse of the Easter Bunny, hiding colored eggs in their garden at night. When Cora hears a mysterious sound, she immediately shines her flashlight through the window. However, all she catches is a pair of startled eyes, followed by the shadow of someone scampering away. Now, she cannot find a way to apologize to the bunny for scaring him off. She resorts to asking her grandma, who was her companion in their previous adventures. Follow Cora and her grandmother on their latest quest in Bunny Magic: A Visit to the Easter Farm, a children’s book written by Jana Paradigi and illustrated by Risto Artworks.

I loved how Jana Paradigi crafted a lighthearted, uplifting story for children that perfectly captured the spirit of Easter. Risto Artworks’ vibrant palette made this book erupt into a riot of colors. The abundance of floral designs and hidden Easter eggs on each page enhanced the cheery vibes of springtime. Paradigi depicted a sweet, lovely bond between a grandmother and a granddaughter. There was a certain whimsy in the story, reflected in Cora’s mismatched socks and the odd portal that took them to the farm. Their concerted efforts in producing the vividly hued eggs teach the importance of teamwork. Paradigi inspires her readers to dream in colors, a brilliant way of instantly enhancing the mood. Bunny Magic: A Visit to the Easter Farm is a cozy read perfect for children aged 3-8 years.
