Cliff’s Mysteries by Cliff Anderson is a collection of paranormal stories from people all over the world such as the Philippines, United Kingdom, United States, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Australia, Africa and many more. Anderson’s paranormal collection is quite vast – an enraged Native American spirit stirred up by a house renovation (which resides on an old Indian settlement), ghosts in an abandoned building and old historic castle, seeing apparitions as clear as day as if they were still living, UFO sightings, as well as supernatural beings such as succubus and jinn.

Some stories are included with pictures which make them more intriguing; a paranormal account from the UK, Ghosts of Chillingham Castle, has an interesting picture of an apparition of a monk that can be seen through a window. Admittedly, I do have my doubts whether everything was staged by the guide and ‘medium’ of the ‘ghost tour’ of the castle. In Asia, particularly South East Asia, superstitions are deeply rooted in the culture, even though some paranormal incident could be explained logically. I do find several paranormal accounts to be far-fetched but to each his own.

Paranormal enthusiasts can definitely ponder and decide for themselves about the authenticity of the stories and the pictures. That said, the individual stories of haunted houses have a ring of truth to them and it’s not wise to read them at night. The prose is straightforward, a down-to-earth, plain-speaking narrative as the focus is the paranormal experiences of the individuals. Cliff’s Mysteries is an interesting paranormal collection and avid paranormal readers would be satisfied and intrigued.
