Confessions of a Crazy Cat Lady: And Other Possibly Demented Meanderings by Sandra Gurvis is an autobiography laced with tons of humor. The author takes the reader on a trip which covers many topics, the main one being cats. So it's a must-read for all women who are cat lovers.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book because there are a lot of laughs. The author's humor is infectious and it is difficult for the reader to put the book down. Every chapter will tickle you and the author does not mind taking potshots at herself. One thing about humor is that it's a great thing if you can laugh at yourself, which is what the author does here. Pictures of cats in different poses and in different parts of the house are included. The dog Duke's picture is also there.
For me the most humorous part of the book was where the author has written about Sasha the cat. The author tells us how to learn about forgiveness from Sasha and the tips made me laugh out loud. To top that, she has added Sasha in a zen-like pose, which indicates the author's sense of humor and how she looks at things.
Confessions of a Cat Lady is mostly about cats and includes a few dogs. It's a book which all feline lovers will enjoy reading and each story is hilarious. I realized after reading this how much I enjoy cat tales.
