Everyone wants to be seen and heard but many times ego is involved when it comes to corporate culture and there is also a lack of trust which can be another obstacle when it comes to building good company culture. This handbook gives practical tools and insights to bring out the qualities of employees and build an excellent company culture that everyone can be proud of. The exercises shared can be used for one-to-one sessions with employees to understand them on a personal level and discover and develop their strengths.
Amy Lynn Durham's approach is simple and fresh. The exercises are helpful when it comes to encouraging employees and elevating their Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence. The topic has been discussed in detail and in a very structured manner, making it easy to comprehend and be incorporated to make a positive impact on company culture. There is a section at the end of Create Magic At Work to write down notes, which is a good way to reflect after reading the book. What lends credibility to the techniques and strategies is the author's personal experiences and stories that will encourage companies to have their own distinct company culture.
