Crystal Shade: Introduction by István Szabó Ifj is an introduction to the Auralight Fantasy Series Crystal Shade. The book is a fantasy science-fiction where you discover some magical and adventurous things and elements.
I found the theme of the book original, hence interesting because it is always refreshing to read something different. The author takes you on a journey of whimsy and fantasy where, at the same time, a spiritual realm is also revealed. There are some fantastic element with magical superpowers. The book will make you want to go back to it and read it again to understand what the author is trying to convey. The reader has to absorb the characters, the magical adventures, the realm through which the author is taking us to enjoy the book. Hence, it should be read slowly or should be given a couple of reads.
Crystal Shade: Introduction has some beautiful artwork that takes care of the visual appeal of the book. The mysterious and mythical characters in the story are brought to life with some illustrations at the beginning of the chapters. Though the book comes across as a fantasy, there is a lot of depth and the introduction to the world of Auralight Fantasy series is done profoundly. The book also has a personal message from the author.
Once this book is read, you will be motivated to read the rest of the series. The serious and lighter moments in life and how they work in tandem with each other is expressed well in this book.
