Authentic leaders who invested in the growth of people and worked toward the overall benefit of humanity have proven to be successful. Joshua Berry is the co-founder and CEO of Econic, an organization that helped several Fortune 500 companies with their growth and innovation efforts. According to Berry, chosen and intentional naivety to pursue a fulfilling life is necessary to better the world, as our actions have ripples of impact (ROI). In Dare to Be Naive, the author introduces the view that, in the modern world, society demands companies serve a social purpose. Divided into three parts, this book demonstrates how our beliefs and business ethics constantly evolve and shows how businesses have adopted these seemingly naive approaches for growth and success. The last part of the book shows the practical applications of these beliefs.

With Dare to Be Naive, you will learn how our beliefs and ideas cause ripple effects that impact others and society at large. Using real-world stories, personal anecdotes, and examples, Joshua Berry shows how our beliefs evolve with personal experiences and encourages organizations to enact a business model that pursues excellence and success while benefitting everyone. The author also reiterates the need to reinvent oneself, the ethical use of AI datasets and algorithms, prioritizing the growth and needs of employees over company goals, and much more. The book is very well-researched, and Berry uses an accessible writing style that is engaging and easy for the reader to grasp. Self-help guidebooks like these have never been so relevant. Overall, I found it very inspiring and motivational. So grab a copy and begin your journey to change the world!
