It’s not often that a bride and groom and family members get arrested on the couple’s wedding day. But that is exactly what happened to Abigail and Zach on what should have been the happiest day of their lives. The newlyweds both come from dysfunctional families and everyone seems to carry their own burden of pain and guilt. How can Abigail cope with the horror she experienced as a teen when no one wants to hear the truth. Zach also has nightmares and regrets things that happened to him when younger, but refuses to get help. Their passion is strong, but can their marriage withstand the traumas of the past that threaten to destroy their love? Author V. R. Avent certainly knew how to keep me on edge with this intensely gripping, highly emotional drama, Dark Light, Dark Paradise #3.
Although I did not read books #1 and 2 in this series, I didn’t miss out on the previous events that lead to Dark Light, Dark Paradise #3. V. R. Avent wrote her story so skilfully that I was able to comprehend the events of the past as they unfolded into the present. I was impatient to turn the pages as the story grabbed my attention with its very impressive beginning. I thought the writing was excellent and knew from reading that this author spent time developing her intriguing plot, characters and attractive book cover. It was a superbly written story that I really enjoyed. Please note this book contains erotic content.
