Three Nines Fine is a work of fiction in the thriller, espionage, and action genres, and is the seventh novel in the Divisible Man thriller saga. The work is best suited to the mature adult reading audience as it contains adult language throughout, moderate violence, and non-graphic sexual situations. Penned by author Howard Seaborne, the series continues with protagonist Will getting hired by a Hollywood A-list actor for a suspicious mission. When a secret meeting goes awry, the Deputy Director of the FBI tasks Will and Andy with an unexpected job. As connections between a drug cartel and a terrorist threat emerge, they uncover a potential disaster threatening American democracy. Racing across the country, Will and Andy, along with the Essex County crew, strive to prevent the destruction of a cherished American institution amidst non-stop action and escalating stakes.

Author Howard Seaborne has got his series down to a fine art at this point, masterfully weaving a complex narrative filled with suspense and high stakes that challenges the heroes we know and love more than ever. The introduction of a Hollywood actor's suspect mission was a glamorous and perilous new twist, and with it came an interesting new mix of tensions and attitudes relating to fame and media that I thought were very apt and resonant with today’s world. The tension escalated as Will and Andy faced the daunting task of the FBI, with each clue uncovering deeper connections to a dangerous cartel and the terrorist threat, and developing a slow-burning tension that was punctuated with sudden discoveries and bursts of gorgeously cinematic action. The fast-paced action is always described in a visceral and multisensory way that keeps readers on the edge of their seats, and the interplay between Will and Andy offers moments of witty relief. Overall, Seaborne's ability to blend thrilling action with intricate plotting makes this novel a compelling addition to the series, and I would certainly recommend Three Nines Fine and the Divisible Man series in general to thriller fans everywhere.
