Doctored Images by Robert Sherrier, MD, is a 'can’t put down' medical thriller. Dr. Bo Richards, radiologist, is the good guy. Cory was his girlfriend before dying in a suspicious car crash; Lisa is the policewoman and just maybe the new girlfriend. I was not sure until the last page if Vince, Dr. Dunner, and Dr. Mush were good or evil. Marisol and Hector were the victims. When Marisol is forced to swallow and transport cocaine from Mexico to the United States, it starts an avalanche of trouble, murder, and intrigue. Marisol’s life is at stake, the hospital may be involved in the cocaine drug trade, innocent people will get hurt, and Dr. Bo must dig deep to find the answer.
Robert Sherrier has written a classic medical mystery with his first book Doctored Images. It was impossible to put this book down and I found myself neglecting chores to read just one more chapter. Doctored Images will keep you guessing right up to the very last sentence and when you get there it is a WOW moment; 'I never saw that one coming' kind of ending. If you are a fan of Robin Cook, this is a must-read because Dr. Sherrier is just as good. I expect that Doctored Images will soon skyrocket to the top of the best seller list and remain there for a long time. Robert Sherrier has quickly made it to the top of my mystery writer favorites and I am anxiously waiting for the next book. This is a sure winner – do not pass it by.
