Domination Drone: The Era of the Drone Wars by Gregory A. Rosenblum is a story set in the near future when the world is controlled by drones. It is the year 2039 and countries and their civilians are ruled and oppressed by drones, controlling everything from food supply to common crime. Life becomes so difficult that there is an underground resistance fighting to end this oppression and suppression via drones. The freedom of the world is under attack and these people are fighting to bring an end to it. During this fight, a fifteen-year-old boy and some of his friends develop a video game that has the potential to change the rules of the game in the real world. He has no idea that his game will bring some new characters into the game and give them an advantage. However, is this advantage for the right people? Or is his game simply making things easier for the oppressors to control people even further?
What can I say about Domination Drone? This is a fast paced, action packed novel that will have you on the edge of your seat from the very first paragraph. What I loved most about this novel is that you cannot categorize it at all. At one point, you will think that this is an action novel; at another point you will notice that it is an adventure novel; and sometimes it becomes a really good science fiction read. The astonishing thing is that this book fits every single category, pushing the limits of what you expect and bringing you something truly tremendous. The descriptions are on-point, the characters are very well-developed, and the plot line is very believable. I really enjoyed it. Superb!
