Luna and Mark had been married for seven years when he suddenly said he no longer loved her. What follows is the dissolution of the marriage, which devastates Luna. She feels empty and lost, having done everything to make her marriage work. During the packing and preparing to move to her new apartment, she discovers her art equipment, which she had given up because Mark did not like her drawing. Luna is lucky to have her best friend, Sarah, and her parents to encourage her to keep going. As events unfold, she starts to rediscover herself as a girl who loved, who dreamed, and who loved to paint. At her mother’s suggestion, she joins a competition to draw for a local bakery. At the same bakery, she meets Daniel, who appreciates her talent. How will things unfold in Drawn to You by Brian T. Harris?

Brian T. Harris has crafted a highly emotive story of human connection in Drawn to You, which motivated me to reflect upon my life’s journey. I loved the message of knowing that one’s self-worth does not come from others. Brian ensured that all the events were vividly captured, and readers will also appreciate the other themes covered, such as the importance of having genuine friends who can be a pillar of strength during life-changing events. The thought-provoking work will also get many parents thinking about the importance of supporting their children and encouraging them to do what they love. This amazing read is a reminder that we can always begin afresh when things don’t go the way we expected they would. This is a highly inspirational book, and I look forward to reading something else by this talented author.
