Dream Man by Kimberly Dean follows the beautiful redheaded Devon through her journey in the dream realm. Devon has been having dreams of her mystery man for nearly three months but every night he appears she can only ever feel his presence, nothing more. The frustration eventually drives her to go along with her friend’s idea to conjure up a love spell. That night Devon once again encounters her dream man but things are very different this time around. Having crossed the border between wakefulness and sleep, Devon enters the dream realm and it is up to Cael to protect his charge.
Dream Man by Kimberly Dean was right up my alley! The combination of hot supernatural men and a feisty female lead makes for the ultimate guilty pleasure romance. Dream Man definitely ticked all my boxes and I enjoyed reading every bit of it. The writing was well done, giving just the right amount of world descriptions and character narratives. The characters themselves were all distinct in personality and it was very easy to become attached to quite a few of them. Tasha definitely deserves an honorable mention as the female lead best friend for her go-getter attitude and the hint of comedy she adds to the story. Cael was definitely an amazing male lead and I couldn’t help but swoon at his overall demeanor. Overall, this book was just fantastic and I enjoyed every page, whether it was filled with drama, action, or a bit of spice.
