Do you need help transforming your life? Are you ready to release the past and only look forward to a bright future? Emotional Healing With Essential Oils by Trish Nash is a guidebook that helps the reader heal gently from past traumas and realize their true potential. The book covers the better-known topics of healing abuse and trauma, such as changing negative self-talk and re-affirming positivity, to the lesser known subject of the healing properties of essential oils. The book includes charts giving the reader easy access to valuable information such as what oils are safe for use during pregnancy, and how to change negative life scripts into empowering words of love and action. This book offers ways to release guilt, fear, shame, and even disgust with the practical use of specific essential oils, and to replace these negative emotions with love, empowerment, happiness and laughter. Are you ready to reclaim your true self?

Emotional Healing With Essential Oils by Trish Nash is a beautifully written book of transformation. The author candidly reveals her painful background and uses her own experiences in life to help the reader better understand how trauma and healing occur. The author not only explains the importance of using empowering thoughts and words, but she also gives the reader a more scientific look into thoughts, words, and scent triggers. I loved how the author explained life-scripts. I have heard of them and have even been told that I need to change my life-scripts, that I have the power to change them, but never has anyone actually bothered to give me a decent explanation of what a life-script is.

This book is a game changer. It will help the reader identify what issues are buried deep from the past, and then help them gently release them. It is interesting to note that although the title includes the use of essential oils as part of the healing technique, I found that they weren't absolutely necessary. The author has laid such a strong foundation that the oils only add to the benefits of her techniques. I would suggest this book to anyone that has suffered a trauma, endured an abusive relationship, or is simply struggling to gain control of their lives. For those that have abuse or addiction in their background, this book is a must-read.

Emotional Healing with Essential Oils is a non-fiction self-help/health and wellness book written by Trish Nash. Nash is a certified Clinical Master Aromatherapist, and Reiki and theta healing practitioner. She was victimized by sexual abusers as a child and young adult, and thought her life would be circumscribed by the things that had been done to her. Nash felt compelled to give of herself totally to help others, without giving herself the emotional healing that she needed to go forward with her own life. In this book, she describes what essential oils are, and how they can assist in one's own journey towards emotional well-being. Nash discusses how to select the best quality essential oils and guides the reader away from products which are not natural or are adulterated. Each chapter in this book addresses issues of importance to many, such as Self-Sabotage, Body Image, Negative Thought Patterns as well as methods to enhance healing, such as Meditation and Body Relaxation Techniques. She recommends specific essential oils for each issue or technique and describes how they should be used or applied. Nash also includes a chapter on Essential Oils and their emotional meanings, Essential Oils Safety Reference Charts, and an extensive list of References and Recommended Readings.

I've long been interested in essential oils and was pleased to find Trish Nash's book on the subject, Emotional Healing with Essential Oils. While I'm familiar with a number of the essential oils she discusses in her text, and have used many of them, I was impressed by the depth and compass of her research into them. Just about any essential oil is presented here with detailed information on their healing properties as well as instructions on how to apply them for best results. I loved seeing how she correlated the various issues most people have in some form or another and shows how, using essential oils, they can begin the healing process. Her advice on using a journal to help healing and pinpoint issues of deep personal significance is brilliant, and her chapter on Essential Oils and their emotional meanings is a comprehensive and insightful guide for selecting the right oils. I was also quite impressed with the list of references she supplies -- it contains a number of works I'm looking forward to reading. Emotional Healing with Essential Oils is most highly recommended.

Emotional Healing with Essential Oils by Trish Nash was a truly interesting and enlightening read. I feel that the book took me on a journey to learn about who I really am and what I care about as my own person, without anyone else’s beliefs influencing who I am or should be as a person. The use of essential oils in the step by step guide was an interesting concept to try, and while I am unsure about how much effect I have gotten from them, I certainly enjoyed the scents, if nothing else! All in all, I am glad that I took the time to read Emotional Healing with Essential Oils by Trish Nash!

Emotional Healing with Essential Oils by Trish Nash is not your typical self-help book. There's a creating of self through using essential oils, meditation, and other self-exploratory tools in order to gain a sense of balance over your health and your life. Nash provides logical tips and valid facts that aid in educating others about mindfulness, self-actualization, and other things, in addition to a great knowledge of essential oils.

I would say that I am very much a novice when it comes to essential oils. I enjoy a nice cinnamon or sandalwood to perfume my home and use eucalyptus as an ingredient in my homemade shampoo, but aside from that I really don't know much background or uses for particular scents and oils. Trish Nash does a wonderful job of uncovering just how many ways that oils can be used, particularly to affect one's mood and emotional state.

While primarily a how-to guide, this book also asked a lot of intellectual questions that helped to stimulate the mind as well as the senses. Trish Nash also speaks from very personal experience in battling her own demons, adding a personalized touch to really make you feel and understand what she went through.

Whether or not you believe in the healing power of essential oils, you should give Emotional Healing with Essential Oils a chance. I felt that it was a very enlightening read and was very quick to get through. A more organized and peaceful mind never hurt anyone, and at the very least, you and everything in your house will smell great!
