Enjoy Heavenly Living Now: Become Childlike is a work of guidance and advice on Christian living, and was penned by author Daniel Green. In this alternative perspective approach to keeping one’s faith, the author encourages readers to re-access the childlike mindset of their youth when looking at biblical teachings to remove some of the scrutiny and doubt which adult, skeptical thinking often brings us. More than this, the idea of hopes and dreams being ‘childish’ is reframed as a wonderful thing, encouraging us as readers to hope and believe again in things we wish to accomplish, and the wonders and miracles of the world around us.

One of the most compelling elements of this concise and detailed guidebook into childlike faith is the motivational and uplifting tone with which author Daniel Green takes command. There is a confident assurance in the well-written prose that makes readers want to believe every word, instilling that same idea of hopes and dreams into the writing itself. The fifteen characteristics discussed are well organized and arranged in a logical order, and the insertion of specific quotes and lessons pairs well with the author’s own teachings. The emphasis on fun and enjoyment of life is highly refreshing, making the idea of Christian worship fun and exciting again as a process of discovery and noticing the wonder of the world. Overall, Enjoy Heavenly Living Now: Become Childlike is a fresh and innovative approach to faith which seeks to revamp enjoyment in life whilst also spreading the blessing of God’s love.
