Devin's 25th birthday is coming up and her friends, grandmother, and aunt want it to be successful. Devin finds she has only one problem that could possibly ruin the party. She invited her crush Amirah, along with her boyfriend. Devin finds herself drawn to the girl and something inside makes her feel she has met Amirah before. Amirah remains devoted to Todd but the two girls feel connected spiritually and begin to spend more time with each other before the big party. On the big night, a drunken Todd attempts to attack Devin, but she easily defends herself until security drags him away. When Amirah approaches Devin, she shocks Devin by revealing her mutual feelings of attraction. The full story has yet to begin, as Devin is about to discover that her circle of friends and family have been hiding a secret that includes Amirah.

If you find your true love, does that love last forever? In Eternal Love, Nived weaves a tale that covers reincarnation, time, and inner turmoil. I like how Nived held nothing back about the inner turmoil that Devin felt. The dialogue in the character interactions was easy and natural. I found it fascinating that Eternal Love was able to convey realistic feelings I could empathize with. Overall, this is a character-driven book that has a nature style spirituality. There is mention of horoscopes, meditation, chakra, and enchantments in the story but anyone that likes a fantasy romance will enjoy this exceptional story.
