Mama Shark and Dada Shark were having fun in Barbados on their family vacation. It was their last day of sun and fun on the beaches of Barbados but it took a bad turn when the worst of all tornadoes struck. They tried to hide and run for cover but it was no use against the Spinning Shark Tornado. Pilot Shark tried his best to make his plane go faster so that he could beat the Quick Tornado. Sergeant Shark patrolled the streets and the teens on the street tried talking to the cops to stop the Criminal Tornado. The Fire Sharks tried to us a heavy spray flow to weaken the Mighty Shark Tornado. Let's read the story to discover how the other Sharks dealt with the Tornado.

Family Shark Tornado! by Mike Suarez is a story filled with fun, mirth, playfulness, action, and adventure that will give young readers fascinating glimpses about the different types of sharks and how they are brought together by luck, fate, and coincidence. Zara Afzal's illustrations are colorful and lively and make the events tangible to readers. The rhyming verses add to the pace and movement of the story and give it a lyrical quality. Children will have fun getting to know Pilot Sharks, Sergeant Sharks, Fire Sharks, Actor Sharks, Dancing Sharks, Dada and Mama Shark, and many other Sharks in a fun and interactive way. It is a good bedtime storybook for parents and grandparents to read out to kids and grandkids, and tutors can use it for read-aloud and storytelling sessions in classrooms and school libraries to introduce children to new words and how to use the rhyme scheme.

This book is incredibly clever. I had no idea where it was going and I love the ending. I'm also not a fan of rap but I love the video that goes with it. It's on YouTube.
