Feyi Fay and the case of the Mysterious Madam Koi Koi: Volume 1 is a children’s fantasy adventure written by Simisayo Brownstone. Feyi Fay is a magical helper, who looks like a child that has wings on her back, and only young children and the other helpers like her can see her. One day while Feyi Fay was talking to her friend, she got an alert that a child in London, England, was in trouble, and they needed help right away. So Feyi Fay went to London and found out where the child who needed rescuing lived, and assessed the situation at hand. Will Feyi Fay be able to save the needy child? Or will she fall into a trap and thus all hope be lost for her and the child she is trying to rescue?
Feyi Fay and the Case of the Mysterious Madam Koi Koi: Volume 1 by Simisayo Brownstone is a well written, charming children's story book. I thought the way the author uses the book to educate children on how to think for themselves, and not be afraid to ask questions whenever they’re in doubt is a very useful technique. I thought the story was cute and had a great plot, with a speed that never lost its momentum even after the book was finished. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series. The cliff hanger was a perfect way to end the story, making the young reader want to know more about what will happen next to the main character.
