Finn is book 2 in the Gates of Heaven Series by M. Tasia. There was a time when he was a gullible young teenager who ran away to Los Angeles to have a better life and to get away from the heartache of his family. He wasn’t prepared for the hard time he would have to face, but when he met Saint, his life changed. His life took a turn for the better when he met Miguel Fernandez and soon the two of them hit it off. He has feelings for Miguel, but he isn’t going to do much about it. He knew his good times were limited and his suspicions became a reality when he started getting harassing calls and texts from someone. He is now on the run, which means saying goodbye to some very special people. But Miguel isn’t ready to let Finn go and he will do whatever it takes to make sure this boy stays safe, even if Miguel has to do something drastic.
Another brilliant story! Finn: Gates of Heaven Book 2 was intense and very entertaining. LGBTQ romances don’t usually have the dynamics where the partners are equal, but this one does. Finn and Miguel are partners; they understand each other and are aware of how important the other is. Miguel didn’t let Finn go, he let Finn know how important he was and that Miguel is ready to do whatever it takes to keep him safe. Their relationship was the highlight of the story for me, they soothed each other and provided a safe haven for the other where they can feel loved and cherished. I enjoyed this because I love the way author M. Tasia writes.
