Forget Me Not is a beautiful and poignant children’s book by Carolyn O’Boyle and Lucy McLouglin. This touching story respectfully and lovingly addresses the loss of a beloved pet. Rose and her dog Dotty were always inseparable and shared many adventures together. The loss of Dotty is difficult, but Rose learns how special her time with Dotty was. Told in rhyme and filled with charming and detailed illustrations, this story offers tangible ways for children to cope with grief and loss. Thought-provoking questions at the end of the story offer positive and gentle guidance for children as they process the challenging emotion of grief. This heartwarming book deals with grief in a caring manner and will leave readers feeling hopeful.
