In Frizzy Tizzy Dances by Wendy Hinbest, Frizzy Tizzy gets to go to dance class. She is very excited about this. She loves music and loves to dance. When Frizzy Tizzy gets up on dance class day, she is ready to eat breakfast and go to class. She brushes her teeth and gets dressed. Her mom is there to help her, but Frizzy Tizzy wants to do it by herself. Her mom is happy that she was able to get dressed all on her own. When Frizzy Tizzy goes outside, she notices little white things falling from the sky. She discovers that it is snow. She is awed by the snow but is still excited to go to dance class and runs in when her parents get to the studio. When the class is over, Frizzy Tizzy doesn’t want to leave. She had lots of fun in class and begins to cry since she won’t have class again for another week. Since Frizzy Tizzy is still upset that class was over, her mom has the idea to put on some music and Frizzy Tizzy dances with them.
Frizzy Tizzy Dances by Wendy Hinbest is a great book for kids. It shows kids that class can be fun and that there is no need to be sad when it is over. This story will get your kids wanting to have fun in class. It’s a whole new adventure wrapped into a bedtime story. I love Frizzy Tizzy's excitement to go to dance class. I can also understand why she would not want to leave. What kid would want the fun of dancing to end? I also love how wild her hair is. The pictures that go along with the story are amazingly good at showing off Frizzy Tizzy's lovely and sweet little personality. They are perfect and complement the story well.
