Amy appears at the Morgan's family cabin one winter evening with two small children in tow. She has no memory of why she is wandering in the mountains during a snow storm or how she got there. Dr. Justin Morgan takes care of Amy's physical needs, but has great concerns about her emotional well being. As the Morgan family embraces this lost and frightened young woman, she begins to heal both physically and emotionally. Amy stays at the Morgan home with Justin's family while he and his brother attempt to uncover the mystery of who Amy is and where she came from. Another mystery is whether Amy will ever remember who she is or who these two young children are. Is someone looking for her? Are there frantic parents trying to find these missing children? This story takes twists and turns and holds your interest as you try to anticipate what will happen next.

Gift From the Storm by Rebekah A. Morris is a story of fear, loss, hope, love, the unselfishness of strangers, and finding one's self all wrapped up into one charming story. Rebekah A. Morris gives us a love story with many levels. As Amy finds love from the strangers who have taken her into their lives, they also lead her to the love of the Savior. Rebekah A. Morris' characters are endearing and very likable, well defined as individuals and as members of this loving family. Rebekah A. Morris gives us an enjoyable read that is difficult to put down as we wait with Amy to see how much she will remember. As memories flash across her mind from time to time, usually bringing panic and terror, we get a glimpse of what might have happened to bring Amy to this place, but we are never quite sure until the truth is finally revealed. I enjoyed this book very much.
