God ... I Wanna Know You! The Search That Led To An Outstanding Find is the first book in the A Child’s Heart series by Mary Alice Burt. Lil’ Kid wants to know if there’s a God, and, if there is, how does he talk to God? Is God so far away that Lil’ Kid has to shout to make himself heard? Will God even answer him? Lil’ Kid looked everywhere, even in the church. But it was only when he met a man with a big red book, talking about God in the street, that Lil’ Kid understood where God was all this time. Now Lil’ Kid knows God and knows that He is with him every day.
God ... I Wanna Know You! by Mary Alice Burt is a great Christian picture book for kids. The illustrations by Charanya Kalamegam are bright and help tell the story, allowing readers to see what’s going on while they read. This is the perfect story for children who are just starting their learning journey about Jesus. It’s written from the perspective of a child, which makes it much easier for kids to follow and understand. It will help children free their imaginations and understand what it’s like to know God. This is written in simple language, perfect for kids to follow, and helps them learn one of the most important parts of the Bible; that God is all-encompassing and is everywhere and within everyone. Highly recommended reading for schools and at home.
