God Is Not Mad at You: You Can Experience Real Love, Acceptance & Guilt-free Living. Joyce Meyers puts her love for God into this uplifting book. Most of us see why God would find fault in us, yet she explains that He sees not the person but the sin. Scripturally backed by beautiful passages from the Bible, Joyce takes great care in explaining to her readers why we are precious in His love and why we should see that. As humans, we are hard on ourselves in personal expectations. It is much easier to feel let down than rejoice, to be put down by society than lifted up. This book is a personal growth tool that everyone should read once. It doesn't matter where you have been, what you have done, and why you think you are not worthy. God has a plan for each of us and His love is unconditional.
God Is Not Mad at You is a life altering way of thinking that is written for everyone. If you have read anything Joyce Meyers has authored in the past, you will know that this woman has God in her heart and a love that surpasses this mortal world. If you are not familiar with her, I invite you to read this book as a gateway introduction to her teachings. This would be a wonderful book for abuse therapy, self help groups focusing on personal development, jail libraries, you name it!
